if your headlamps don’t offer enough power, driving in the dark of winter can be frustrating and tiring – and even dangerous.

But the latest product to be launched by Ring Automotive promises to

dramatically improve visibility. The Xtreme Blue bulb claims to be a xenon lookalike, as it releases a blue/white HID gas discharge, which enhances performance and vision. The manufacturer says this is because the human eye is more attuned to the new product’s higher colour temperatures.

As the bulbs are UV cut, they can be used perfectly legally in traditional plastic headlights. What’s more, they could not be easier to install, as no wiring changes are required. Both H4 and H7 versions are available.
