The city council says recording every incident which results in a fixed penalty will dramatically reduce the 20,000 disputed tickets a year. A spokeswoman for the authority said: "The cameras will provide a photographic record of every car issued a ticket to give evidence in a dispute."

Christened the Audi
Sportback Concept the newcomer hints at the long awaited A7 - a four-door, four-seat luxury grand tourer which places
performance and style on an equal footing.
It shares Audi"s A4 and A5 chassis, and its powerplants too. So that means the range will
include 2.8-litre, 3.0-litre and 4.0-litre petrol engines, and
2.7-litre and 3.0-litre diesels.
The showcar, powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel drove onto the show stand under its own power, delighting the crowd... Easily the biggest of the show so far.
Under the skin the Sportback Concept offers quattro four-wheel drive, LED lights and carbon composite brakes. Drivers will also be offered a choice of six speed manual and 7-speed S Tronic gearboxes when the car goes on sale in 2011.
