It was hard to miss Fiat"s star of the show - the 500. For a start, there was a hansel and grettle style trail of ladies, styled to within an inch of their lives and sporting white jumpsuits,, to show the way. I just followed these and was confronted with a giant version of the popular new supermini. To give you an idea of the scale...the model"s wheels disappeared to reveal real-life 500s inside, which visitors can ride through the supersized version and out towards the gobsmacked crowd.

Taking its styling cues from the 612 Scaglietti, insiders tell us the new model will be called the F600 Imola, and will slot into the Ferrari range between the smaller F430 and the four-seater 612. The badge comes from the 600bhp, 6.0-litre V12 under the bonnet.

Unlicensed minicab operators...

Unlicensed minicab operators are transporting schoolchildren thanks to a legal loophole. The GMB union says operators dodge rules by claiming their vehicles are used as part of a private contract - and are not available to the public - so don"t require a licence. Proper taxis have to undergo strict testing.
