Over half (55 per cent)...

Over half (55 per cent) of the British driving population currently has a prescription for glasses or contact lenses which they should wear when driving. But the research findings reveal that almost one in five (18 per cent) have driven without wearing their prescription glasses or contact lenses, equating to over three million drivers. Most worrying is that almost a fifth of these (17 per cent), over half a million drivers, confess to doing so once every few days.

Toyota has opened up...

Toyota has opened up on the iQ! The Japanese firm will reveal two new special editions of its city car at next weekò€™s Frankfurt Motor Show ò€“ the iQ for Sports and the iQ Collection.

The iQ Collection gets a panoramic glass roof and luxurious brown and white ò€˜cow hideò€™-style leather interior.

Meanwhile, the iQ for Sports ò€“ identical to the Scion iQ concept seen at this yearò€™s New York Auto Show ò€“ features fluorescent lime paintwork and a chunky bodykit.

Mechanicals remain untouched, so expect the same 1.0 and 1.3-litre engines as are used in the standard car.
