They"ve warned that without complete agreement about the venue and format, it could be axed. A spokesman told us if the industry felt none of the three venues bidding for the show - Birmingham NEC, plus London"s Earls Court and ExCeL - would raise attendance and lower costs, the expo may not go ahead.

"No one wants that, but it is a possibility," he revealed. A crunch meeting in January will decide the show"s future.
