Here are the pictures that prove Mercedes is working overtime. Our spies have snapped the next-generation CLS and SLK!
There have been some...
There have been some wacky names for special editions over the years, but this tops the lot!
Fiat has developed a new 500 called ò€˜Da 0 a 100ò€™. It translates as ò€˜From 0 to 100ò€™, and has been built to mark the centenary of the birth of Carlo Abarth, the founder of the Fiat tuning arm.
Based on the 160bhp 1.4 Esseesse model, the car gets adapted gear ratios to give a 0-60mph time of 7.3 seconds and a 131mph top speed. Other modifications include uprated brakes, quad exhausts, special low springs and 17-inch alloys with chromed hub covers and Abarthò€™s scorpion logo.
But the most obvious feature is the unique paintjob: the car is finished in striking gold grey.
Only 100 examples are being built, all in left-hand-drive. And while thereò€™s no word on price, Fiat says a handful could end up in the UK through importers.
