Drive-thru restaurants are common - but now one has opened that"s designed for farmers who don"t want to get out of their tractors. Greystone House Farm in Stainton, Cumbria, set up a tea shop a few years ago to supplement its income. Now farmers can phone orders ahead, drive right up and have someone hand food to them in their vehicle.

A minor facelift means...

A minor facelift means a new grille for the soft-roader, plus revised lights, 16-inch alloys, a hard spare wheel cover and wider arch projectors. The diesel variant, which covers 0-60mph in 10.6 seconds and returns 39.8mpg, gets a tailgate spoiler. Cabin revisions include better materials and instrumentation. Petrol models go on sale in November from í‚á£17,600, a slight increase over the existing car.

The stretched Range...

The stretched Range Rover Mayfair has up to 600mm more legroom than standard, and comes complete with aircraft-style reclining rear seats.

Long legs and longer pockets are the order of the day with this challenger to DaimlerChrysler"s Maybach executive cruiser. The new Mayfair is available with an extra 300mm or 600mm added to its body length, and has a panoramic full-length glass sunroof, fridge and TV/DVD player among its options list.

Soon to go on sale through London Land Rover dealer Stratstone, the Mayfair is available with a 305bhp 4.4-litre V8, 400bhp 4.2 supercharged V8 or 174bhp 3.0 turbodiesel. Prices range from ÷£100,000 to ÷£135,000.
