This broken Bentley...
This broken Bentley is also a record breaker! Although badly damaged, the Continental GTC (above) has beaten the previous best sale figure for the marque at salvage firm Bluecycle. It received 700 online bids for the cabrio, which had less than 300 miles on the clock when it came a cropper.
The second special edition...
The second special edition unveiled at the MINI United festival resurrects a name that will familiar to many. The original Mini Mayfair debuted in 1982 and immediately earned a reputation for being one the most luxurious Minis money could buy - and its modern incarnation carries on the tradition.
Unique 17-inch, 12-spoke ð€˜Infinity Streamð€™ alloys finished in white match-up with the solid white roof, while a choice of Hot Chocolate or Midnight Black metallic paintwork is overlaid with Toffee-metallic bonnet stripes. Additional headlights on the radiator grille, mirror housings fading from black to brown and a Mayfair logo next to the indicator lenses finish off the exterior decoration. Toffee-coloured leather seats with white piping keep the classic feel going on the inside, too.
Available in Cooper, Cooper D and Cooper S trim, prices will range from £18,15 to £21,280 wen the car goes on sale in September.
