There was plenty of Turkish delight for Jenson Button last weekend, as the Brawn GP ace notched up his sixth win of the season. The Briton now has an impressive 26 point advantage at the top of the title table.

The result is this fantastic subterranean refuge, devised by felt-roofer Stephen and built mostly by himself. Friends helped to complete the 12-month-long project after contractors had made the initial five-metre-deep hole in his garden.
Stephen"s partner Haley Barton said: "That was the really scary bit - having a hole that size right outside the front of your house!"
As our picture shows, the door of the finished building is little more than waist-high at ground level. So how on earth does Stephen get the car in? The answer is thanks to a clever tilting steel driveway which lowers into the ground. This enables him to squeeze the family Volvo 850 in, as well as a motorbike. The unique ramp system is operated by hydraulic rams and has become something of a local attraction. The novel creation means Stephen is no longer considering moving from the house where he was born.
