The poll was dominated by German manufacturers; second place in the standings went to Mercedes, while BMW/MINI took the third podium spot.
An ICS spokesman explained, “The automotive sector has scored consistently well across the board, with customers thinking makers scored well in all areas.”
The satisfaction index also asked 6,000 consumers to rate 11 other industries, and automotive firms were ranked among the most successful. “That means even the lowest-scoring brands are still performing better than the best in some other sectors of industry,” added the spokesman.
