The future of American car giant GM has been thrown back into question,
with the shock announcement that the firmò€™s recently appointed boss,
Fritz Henderson, has quit after just six months in the hot seat.
Henderson
was due to lay out his plans for the future of the car maker with a
keynote speech to mark the opening of the LA Motor Show.
However,
on the eve of the event, it was announced that he has left the company.
Bob Lutz, GM"s vocal product planner, will step in to fill his place.
According
to experts this latest development has been driven by GMò€™s failure to
stick to its business plan of selling Opel, Vauxhall and Saab.
