The chain store has...

The chain store has produced a smaller version of its package – so we had to check it out. The 49-piece box contains many of the essential items which can be found in the larger set. There are spanners, sockets, screwdrivers, pliers and hex keys in a range of popular sizes.

You’ll have to look elsewhere for a hacksaw or hammer and, in place of the aluminium case there’s a tough plastic box, although this should still survive the rigours of life in a car’s boot. We’re pleased to see the quality and workmanship of the tools is just as good as the 127-piece version, making this kit ideal for those with less to spend.
