The central area will...

The central area will be a replica of Tracy Island, while a recreation of Thunderbird 2 will be suspended from the roof. There will be original vehicles and props from the film, plus a 25-minute show every two hours. At 7,400 square metres - the size of a football pitch - the show stand will be the largest that the company has ever created in Europe.

Meanwhile, MINI has released details of its live-action stunt show. A spokeswoman told us: "It will feature a lot of convertibles, because of the launch of that car. However, stunt driver Russ Swift won"t be going up on two wheels, as there are some serious safety implications if you do that in a cabrio!"

The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti and Maserati Quattroporte will make their UK debuts at the show, while Noble has confirmed it will launch its new convertible. Visit www.motorshowlive.com or call 0870 730 2004 for British Motor Show tickets.
