Codenamed the MX Micro...

Codenamed the MX Micro Sport, the newcomer will be aimed directly at the Renaultsport Clio 182 and forthcoming Vauxhall Corsa GSi. The car is powered by the gutsy 150bhp 2.0-litre engine that made its debut in the Mazda 6, and should be capable of reaching a top speed of around 130mph.

The car is the LF-C and the firm says it"s a luxury sports coup탩 which mixes concave and convex panels to create a sculptured look. It also has an innovative folding roof which can adopt four configurations - coup탩, targa, cabriolet or speedster - at the touch of a button. Power comes from a front-mounted V8 which feeds power to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential auto gearbox.

Meanwhile, the current Lexus IS200 and IS300 ranges have been updated, with all cars coming with new rear light clusters and 17-inch alloy wheels. Prices are up one per cent, starting at í‚á£18,850 for the IS200 and rising to í‚á£27,040 for the IS300.
