The Mobile Wear Bluetooth...

The Mobile Wear Bluetooth timepiece from Abacus is certainly easy to carry around – but is it any good?

Well, yes and no. At present, the watch will pair only with Sony Ericsson phones, which limits its appeal. The other frustrating thing is that you can’t actually speak through the watch.

You can view who is phoning, and mute or reject the call, but you can’t have a conversation. Instead, you’ll have to get your handset out for that. However, it worked well when we tried it and the watch vibrated with the caller ID appearing on the screen, even if responding requires you to keep your phone in a holder. The watch face is clear, so viewing the time or text is really easy, but the plastic strap could be more comfortable, and might irritate sensitive skin.
