The nose is dominated...

The nose is dominated by a V-shaped chrome badge flanked by the projector-style headlights from the Astra. It means that the only real difference between the four-seater executive car and the Vectra is the addition of an extra bar in the grille. New alloy wheels sharpen up the profile, while at the rear a restyled light cluster and bumper combination finishes the look.

Spyker is one of the world’s oldest car companies. Born in Amsterdam in 1898, by 1907 one of its motors had come second in the Peking-Paris Rally, but the firm went bust in 1925.

It was relaunched in 2000, making supercars which also race at Le Mans. In 2005, Spyker went on the Amsterdam stock exchange, and last summer it acquired the MF1 grand prix team from its Russian owner.
