Though a breakdown forced...
Though a breakdown forced the car pictured here to be towed by a standard 207, these are the first images yet of a totally undisguised prototype of the new Peugeot 207 RC, the replacement of the 206 RC which was powered by a two-litre 180-bhp 4-cylinder petrol engine and was capable of doing up to 220 km/h and a sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds. We expect the new one to make use of the same engine and reaching similar speeds and times. In any case, the car will be launched at the Paris Motor Show in September this year.

Protecting your car’s bodywork from stone chips is a good way to preserve its value. RhinoProtect uses a transparent self-adhesive film to preserve vulnerable edges of your car’s bodywork, and the firm has just announced a whole new range of models it can be applied to.
The ‘invisible’ VentureShield tape can be fitted to your car anywhere in the UK or at the firm’s headquarters in Slough, Berkshire.
New applications just released include the Mercedes C-Class, Jeep Commander, Chevrolet’s Captiva and Kalos, Vauxhall Corsa VXR, Honda FR-V, BMW X5 and even the Ferrari F40! Log on to the website for a full list of the models covered.
