Owner General Motors has revealed that last year"s British debut of the American marque was a flop - and it"s planning a big brand relaunch with another car.



The car was first unveiled...

The car was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March, where it was blue and had a roof. Auto Express drove it in issue 856, and tipped it to appear in dealers soon. For the Frankfurt event, bosses decided to update the concept, give it a respray and chop the top off.

It will use the platform of VW"s latest Golf, but the front and rear overhangs are kept to a minimum to ensure that it is nearly as short as a supermini.
