Looking for a budget...
Looking for a budget sat-nav that provides great service at a fraction of the cost of high-end products? Then TomTomò€™s new One GB could be for you.
It belies its low price with great looks, and although the 3.5-inch screen seems small at first, itò€™s fine in operation. As with other models in the range, it is intuitive to use and the menu easy to navigate. Clear visual and audio instructions make following directions simple.
Debuting on this new range is the Easy Port mount (above) ò€“ a system that lets users dock the device with one hand and fold it neatly away while attached to the unit. After loosening some screws we got the hang of it and were impressed at how slim the device was when stowed. A new speaker gave good sound quality and the camera database was welcome. Navigation was quick and accurate, too. As an entry-level model, it really is all most people would need ò€“ and certainly makes you question why youò€™d want to buy a more expensive variant.
