With a more car-like profile than the current model, it will still seat five, not seven. However, buyers can expect a more flexible cabin. While the outgoing model only has a 60/40 split-folding rear bench, the newcomer is set to feature seats which drop flat into the floor, to put it on a par with class rivals.

Look familiar? This is the Lotus Super 7-inspired ThoRR, and it’s electrifyingly quick! It’s the brainchild of Dutch engineering company Evisol, and providing the power is a hi-tech Siemens electric motor.
Using lithium polymer batteries, the zero-emissions roadster can cover 124 miles on a single charge, while the drivetrain produces a maximum 268bhp and 450Nm of torque. Despite all that low-down shove, it makes do with a single gear ratio. And because the ThoRR tips the scales at only 755kg, it has a power-to-weight ratio of 360bhp per tonne – or roughly the same as a Ferrari 599 Fiorano! Log on to www.thorr.eu for details.
