Jeepers - this is quick! US firm Jeep plans to set the 4WD world alightby fitting its Grand Cherokee with a massive 6.1-litre HEMI V8 engine.
Called the SRT-8, it will be the off-road specialist"s fastest model ever. Offering 420bhp on tap, the four-by-phwoar hits 62mph in five seconds on its way to a top speed of 152mph.
The ÷£40,585 flagship has been given a sporty look on the outside with twin tailpipes, 20-inch alloys and unique air ducts. Brembo brakes, sports suspension and anti-roll bars help keep the giant 4x4 on the road.
