Check out the barnstorming CLS55, which features a 5.5-litre 476bhp supercharged V8. Capable of sprinting from 0-60mph in 4.7 seconds, the four-door limo goes on sale in January. Prices are yet to be confirmed.

It appears that speed-sensitive road humps are all the rage these days. We revealed one inventor"s creation in issue 855, and now Gwyn Harvey - a former design and technology teacher from Dinas Powys, Wales - has got in on the act, too. His system also uses a design that collapses at

low speed, and has won a bronze award at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions.
