Insiders have revealed that a new high-flow exhaust, combined with an uprated engine management system and fuel injectors, has increased power to 140bhp. As a result, the unit propels the R3 from 0-60mph in 9.7 seconds and on to a maximum speed of 133mph.
On the outside, lightweight 17-inch alloys and a prominent bootlid spoiler give the car an aggressive stance. A set of large, drilled brake discs, clearly visible behind the wheels, continue the sporty theme. Inside, the hot Gen2 features Recaro seats and a Momo steering wheel.
