More than 2,000 trucks and buses collide with bridges each year as drivers either forget the height of their vehicles or don"t see the warning signs. The infra-red sensors recognise high-sided vehicles as they approach, and trigger a special signal warning the driver to stop and find another route.

is a compact design fits comfortably between the
riders legs, to provide free movement in all directions just as in
human walking forward, backward, side-to-side, and diagonally.
Honda
has said it will will continue research and development of the device including
experiments in a real-world environment to verify the practicality of
the device.
