Here"s proof that MINI...

Here"s proof that MINI engineers are working flat-out on a new evolution of the JCW Clubman aimed at UK drivers.

These exclusive spy shots show what buyers can expect from the model, due for launch later this year. At the front is a new bumper, with a different lower grille. New vents feature next to the front foglights to improve brake cooling. The carð€™s flanks are barely changed, as the chromed wing mirrors and flared wheelarches remain.

At the rear there will be a bigger bumper and exhaust pipes, plus smoked tail-light covers. Mechanically, the car is identical to the JCW Clubman launched early last year. So the stiff suspension and 208bhp engine remain. Prices are likely to start at just over £23,500.
