Following on from the mag"s scoop shots in issue 881, this is the first time we"ve seen an undisguised S80 out on the road. As you can see, it"s a much sleeker design than the current model: Volvo wants the S80 to compete with its German rivals in every area. At the front, the headlights and front bumper are particularly sporty, while the sweeping roofline and the bold rear lights give it a distinctive look.

Bo and Luke are set for a big-screen debut. Following the success of other retro movies with star cars - Starsky and Hutch, for example - the Dukes of Hazzard is on the way. Film company Warner Bros has admitted it"s commissioning a script from John O"Brien, part of the team behind S&H. The Fast and The Furious Part 3 is also in development.
