One of Britain"s premier motoring collections, the Coventry Transport Museum, is marking its 25th birthday. However, silver jubilee celebrations have been restricted by massive redevelopment work, due for completion in March. Capitalising on the heritage of the Jeep brand, the front has been redesigned to emphasise the seven-slot grille. The foglamps are also new, while stylists have worked on the car"s bumpers and side mouldings to make them more pronounced. At the rear, the tail-light clusters have been restyled to freshen up the 4x4"s looks.
Inside, changes are equally subtle, but the switchgear has been altered to make the cabin more ergonomic, while fresh materials and fabrics have also been added.
