However, these official pictures of its new military-spec 6.7-litre High Mobility Utility Vehicle (HMUV) are the start of an even more amazing project at the firm, based in Uttoxeter, Staffs.

Buyers visiting showrooms...

Buyers visiting showrooms will be able to see how green each motor is, thanks to a colour-coded sticker on the windscreen, which reflects the vehicle"s emissions.

The most polluting new cars - ones with a CO2 rating of over 186g/km - will have a red sticker. The cleanest will be dark green, for emissions rated at less than 100g/km - which currently means only electric vehicles. There are four other coloured markings.
