The 911-style narrowed headlights don"t only get a new look, but on the Turbo model they also automatically adjust depending on input from the steering. Revamped front air intakes across the range have been added as well, to improve cooling and engine performance.
Other design tweaks include fresh wheelarches, an F1-style rear diffuser plus a roof spoiler. Buyers will also be able to opt for a hi-tech roll-stabilising system which will improve handling.
Under the bonnet, diesel power has been boosted with new Direct Fuel Injection engines, which the firm claims can also improve economy by up to 15 per cent. The Cayenne"s original 3.2 V6 is now a 3.6, with torque climbing to 385Nm from 310Nm, and power boosted by 40bhp to 290bhp.
The S-badged variant gains a new 4.8-litre V8 producing 500Nm, while the twin-turbo 4.8 now boasts a huge 700Nm of torque and 500bhp. With prices starting at ÷£37,100, the Cayenne range will go on sale in February.
