The long-awaited newcomer"s cabin will look familiar to Boxster owners; the recently facelifted drop-top has loaned much of its switchgear to the firm"s new entry-level coupнѓ©. This official picture shows the distinctive sculpted instrument binnacle, as well as twin round air-vents above the LED information screen. However, elsewhere it"s all change, thanks to the Cayman"s metal roof and practical hatchback. At the rear of the seats there"s a small stowage area, which leads into a shallow 260-litre boot.

The beefed-up hatch...

The beefed-up hatch uses the Espace"s 3.5-litre V6 engine. However, it has been modified to offer 320bhp - an increase from 245bhp in the MPV - and is mated to a semi-auto gearbox. A tubular chassis and performance brakes complete the changes.
